In 2004, Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church had the honor of hosting two Builders for Christ mission teams. Their purpose was to help us build our new church facilities. The experience left us with wanting to pass the blessing on to another church.
Since then, we have had the opportunity to help build churches in several different states such as Alabama, New York, Illinois and Missouri. The teams are made up of volunteers who may or may not have prior experience. Although it sounds impossible, the work that is completed within one week's time is truly a miracle! The team comes together to build a physical building but leave being built up themselves by the worship and fellowship that is enjoyed throughout the week.
